| Description of the problem | I experienced the "death wobble" for the first time while driving at around 70 mph on the interstate. My wife and son were riding in the vehicle with me. The truck shook violently. Braking seemed to worsen the shaking. Once the vehicle slowed to around 45 mph, the shaking ceased. A few minutes later, i increased my speed again to around 70 mph, and then the violent shaking occurred again. Both events occurred as i encountered an overpass. It scared all of us in the vehicle. We no longer feel confident when driving the truck. My wife said she will never drive the truck again. |
