| Description of the problem | Vehicle steering wheel shakes when driving over rough roads or bumps. Commonly referred to the "death wobble". Truck is difficult to control while the wobbling is going on. My research shows many complaints and very little action from ford to remedy the problem. This problem is a legitimate safety concern. I believe that ford should have a recall campaign to fix this problem. The problem is described as a defect linked to abnormal wear and/or loosening of the track bar bushing, damper bracket, ball joints, control arms, shocks and/or struts. Vehicle is currently being repaired by a private shop not the dealer. |
