| Description of the problem | Front end "death wobble" 2019 f250 with 17000 miles. While driving on 2 lane road, slight left curve in the road at approx 55 mph, hit a frost heavy bump. Caused uncontrollable side to side wobble of front end and steering wheel. Worse when i applied the brakes. Stopped once below 40 mph. This has happened 2 times in the last week. Went to ford today. They replaced the steering stabilizer. I'm skeptical that this will fix the problem. Front tires are at 5/32 factory goodyear. With even wear. I will replace tires next. These events could easily have resulted in a significant accident. It seems it is a combination of cheap/worn parts and poor quality tires. |
