| Description of the problem | Truck exhibited severe front end shaking while accelerating around 45mph. Approx 6180 miles on vehicle at time of event. Event occurred on paved road with some rough patches. Shaking was extremely violent and persisted, causing me to rapidly brake. Symptoms subside after dropping speed to 20mph or so. Drove a few hundred yards to shoulder. Stopped and visually inspected tires and under carriage for loose hardware. No problems observed.
