| Description of the problem | My 2018 f250 king ranch has started the death wobble at just over 55,000 miles. It has done it at least 5 times now going 60-75mph if i hit a bump or pothole. When it starts, the steering wheel shakes back and forth and the vehicle can not be controlled until i slow to almost a complete stop. The most recent time, i almost hit a guard rail. I have taken the truck back to my local ford dealership and they agreed to replace the steering damper, but told me the part was on backorder. I ended up getting one from napa and replaced it on my own, i do not feel safe driving this truck. Ford has a problem and refuses to acknowledge it. |
