| Description of the problem | Door latches freeze below 25 degrees f causing the doors to not stay closed, interior lights may or may not go out as if doors are actually shut, door locks stop working when this occurs, both manually or electronically. Major safety concern. Ford has issued field service action number: 18n03 to address this, but many have reported still having the issue after having the fsa completed, through 2019 model year vehicles as well. Supposedly they have redesigned the latch/actuator assembly. I am scheduled to have the fsa and hopefully the new latches done on 1/14/2019. |
