| Description of the problem | In 2018 ford extended the warranty period on their def heaters. The warrant included 2011, 2012 f250 thru f550. The warrant also included 2013, 2014, 2015 f 450 and f 550 but excluded the f250 and f 350. In researching this particular problem, i see a number of people who are having this exact issue with the 2015 f 250 and f 350. All of these vehicles use the exact same 6. 7 power stroke diesel motor and i would think the def systems are similar if not identical. Ford should be required to include the 2013, 2014, and 2015 f 250 and f 350 in the warranty they extended to 11 years. I have owned two 2015 f 250 diesel trucks and both have had issues with the def systems. My truck currently has 74,000 miles. |
