| Description of the problem | I have a 2015 ford f250 diesel. The check engine light came on. I had it checked and found out this is a recurring problem for ford. The code given was p20ba which is def tank reduntant heater failure. This has been a problem since 2011 for ford. I have less than 27000 miles on my truck but since it happened outside the 36 month warranty, my local dealer will not cover it. I contacted ford thru thier web site and was told it was up to the dealer whether it was covered or not. This should be covered under the environmental warranty. Thing is ford should have corrected this years ago. I also found out the 2015 f450 and f550 have been recalled for this same issue. Then why aren't the 2015 f250 and f350. |
