| Description of the problem | I would like to know why ford has not recalled the plastic oil pan due to seal failure and returning back to steel pan on newer models. This a continuing problem noted on numerous internet posts. My 2011 ford f-250 lariat 4x4 is leaking oil and now has to be replaced, costing a lot of money for labor and oil replacement which should not be necessary for a vehicle with only 135,000 miles drive time. |
