| Description of the problem | 2005 ford f250 sd had cracked transmission becuase of low/reverse snap ring failure in the 5r110 torqshift transmission. Ford issued a customer satisfaction program 05b27 but put an expiration date on it. The program was not ever for a whole year. Ford is not willing to reimburse or issue a recall when they know this is a problem. The snap ring failed inside and busted my transmission. Alot of people have experienced this problem and there needs to be a recall on this transmission. |
