| Description of the problem | 2005 ford f-250. Consumer states engine failure *tgw the consumer stated the engine failure nearly caused an accident, when it shut down on a major highway. Subsequently, the consumer also experienced a failure with the fuel injection control module. After having the fuel injection control module replaced, the check engine light illuminated after leaving the dealership. The check engine light illuminated due to a failed egr valve. The consumer was also informed the alternator was spiking, and needed to be replaced as well as the egr cooler and head gaskets. *jb |
