| Description of the problem | Violent steering oscillation aka "death wobble. Truck has 18k miles and is unsafe to drive normally. After hitting a small bump in the road at speeds above 35 mph the truck will shake side to side and up and down until the truck is slowed down under 20 or in some cases the truck must come to a full stop. Consider going 65mph in the middle lane on the highway and having to slow down to 20mph and pull over with cars around while the truck is on the brink of being out of control. I have had to do it. This is a major problem for both safety and quality control standards. |
