| Description of the problem | Purchased a 2006 f250 super duty 8-08 used with 56,000 miles. 5 times since then truck at highway speeds over a small bump will go out of control steering wheel shakes very bad and takes a few seconds to regain control. Last time this happened truck swerved over 2 lanes and on to shoulder before re gaining control. Others have had same experience in same truck. Replaced tires did not cure problem. Was a ford mechanic at a dealership for 5yrs. Inspected truck my self all suspension parts and steering components are tight and in good shape. Wont let my wife and child ride or drive this vehicle received a notice from ford that stated improper tire pressure is the problem, i will assure you that it is not!! |
