| Description of the problem | I was driving down a street in my 2006 f250 sd, when all of a sudden the horn honked and stayed on (not like honk honk but like hhhhooonnnkk) i had to stop and pull the fuse to get the horn to turn off. It is a safety risk due the way other drivers get startled buy this sudden noise. And may very well causes and accident or kill some one if it happens at the wrong time. I have read online that is happens alot in the 03-06 f250, and when ford fixed my truck they replaced the fuse box, driver side air bag and horn assembly(at a cost of 1486. 80). Stating that if i had been in an accident the air bag might not have deployed. So my life could have very much been in danger......... Thanks ford... |
