| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2004 ford f-250 super duty. The contact stated that the turbo component of the diesel engine failed. The component was replaced by an authorized dealer. In addition, the contact stated that the engine would exhibit an unusual increase in rpms yet there was no power to the engine. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where the egr valve was repaired. The contact then noticed a massive oil leak and the dealer replaced the injector control press. The contact continued to notice a lack of power and the vehicle would sporadically stall without warning. The dealer inspected the vehicle and replaced the egr cooler and oil cooler. The manufacturer offered no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 3,000 and the current mileage was 53,183. |
