Description of the problem	When the vehicle is in motion and shifting from 3-4 or downshifting from 5-4 there can be a significant jerkiness or shudder. Also, occasionally when downshifting from 10 to a lower gear there is a significant jerk. We have at times thought we were rear ended as the truck really lurched. These events happen sporadically. The truck has approximately 30k miles and the transmission has been reflashed. The dealership says this is a common problem and there is nothing they can do and hoping ford will issue a fix. We are nervous driving the truck as this may happen at anytime and could create a situation where we over react with detrimental consequences. Note, this is a random occurrence and not limited to one event. I selected the date as a placeholder.
