Description of the problem | I purchased a left over 2019 in june 2020. The vehicle has been back twice for transmission issues to the dealership. I was told that i have to live with it from a service advisor. The vehicle's powertrain is jerky when slowing down. It feels like a kick when is goes from gear to gear up or down shifting. There is also a loud bang upon start up. I video taped it, the drive shaft twist upon start up. Seems unsafe if the drive pin is the only thing hold a 7000 lbs vehicle or if you start in neutral. Overall the pcm needs new transmission strategy applied. Very poor on ford's behalf. |
