| Description of the problem | February 28, 2019 started to pass another vehicle on the highway and my 2018 f150 stx just kept on accelerating on its own, i applied brakes and it would slow down but as soon as i stopped braking it started to accelerate again, it did this several times during braking, i finally had to turn the ignition off and pull over. I restarted the vehicle and the accelerator raced up again, i shut it off again and let it sit for a few minutes to reset to default. It was ok after that and has not happened since but i am waiting for the next event. This is a major safety hazard and should be investigated. Called hallada ford in dodgeville wi. To let them know and there response was they were unaware of the problem, don't think i believe that!! |
