Description of the problem	I bought a new f-150 last august from the ford dealer in ashboro, nc. With below freezing weather the driver side door will not latch. The dealer has been contacted through a message on his website but has not responded. The last f-150 i owned did not have this problem and neither did a couple e-150 vans before that. I did have a similar problem with a ford mustang back in the 70's but found that i could push down the door lock before slamming the door. The lock would then pop up and the door would latch. This technique did not work with the new f-150. I think this creates a dangerous situation, i. E. Holding the driver side door shut since it wants to fly open during right turns. You would think that ford would at least include a hook on the inside of the door so you could loop the seat belt through it to keep the door closed in cold weather.
