| Description of the problem | Stationary- bought the truck with a 6600# tow package, class iv hitch, 7 and 4 pin electric trailer plug-in and was expecting to tow a trailer. Truck had no trailer brake or tow mirrors. Any trailer exceeding 3000 lbs gvwr needs trailer brakes and tow mirrors. Had to have them installed. Should have been the manufacturers job to make towing safe for the average driver to make lane changes, make turns or brake safely. 6600 lb tow package is misleading and unsafe to the general public's safety! |
