Description of the problem	After entering the truck, i closed the door, put on my seat belt, started the engine and put the truck into forward gear. I noticed the "driver door ajar" alert and tried to close it again. The latch did not engage at all. The temperature was a little below freezing, maybe 25 degrees f. I let the truck warm up, played with the electronic locking buttons and after 10 minutes or so, i got the latch to work. This happened again the next day and even using a torch to warm the door, it still took at least 15 minutes before i could get the latch to engage. I found numerous complaints on the internet for this problem, including some accounts in which the latch disengaged while driving! This is extremely scary and very dangerous. I believe this is a well-known and documented problem that is severe enough to warrant a recall. It could certainly lead to an accident and potentially a loss of control with potentially lethal results.
