| Description of the problem | I am experiencing door latch issues on my 2018 ford f150 supercrew pickup truck. In cold weather, i am able to open the passenger side rear door, but unable to close the door. When i attempt to close the door, it bounces back at me. I am concerned the door is not secure, and can open at any time. The door will subsequently close only after the truck is running with the heat on high for over 30 minutes. This is a great concern for safety as we have to have someone sit in the rear seats and hold the door shut when we experience the issue. This is the second time this winter that this issue has happened, and the issue has been widely documented on the internet. I have opened a case with ford, and they do not believe the newer f150's are impacted. |
