Description of the problem	I have a 2018 f-150 built at the dearborn plant on 06/12/18. The truck odometer reads 4,300 miles. I was driving in the truck when the temperature was below freezing. When performing a turn, the driver's door popped open. I was able to grab a hold of the door and tried to shut it. The latch would not function. I stopped the vehicle and exited. I slammed the door multiple times from outside and it finally latched. I called the dealer to make an appointment for service. The dealer stated that they have observed this on other trucks and that ford has issued a fix. The dealer claimed that they have had a 50% success rate on the repair, and that when it is not successful, the problem will become worse. Because of the low success rate, i asked if it was still advisable to have the repairs made. They advised me to bring the vehicle for repair.
