Description of the problem	Mode of failure.: door frozen shut, will not open from outside. If entry is made from another door, and frozen door lock latch can be opened from inside door handle or manually pulling up inside door lock, door may open, however door latch is still frozen and door will not close, rendering vehicle dangerous to drive. Activating the power door lock mechanism, either remotely or manually from inside vehicle, can often result in internal damage to door lock assembly on a frozen door. If door handles are forced, doing so also can often result in internal damage to door lock assembly on a frozen door, rendering vehicle dangerous to drive.
