Description of the problem	The emergency brake cable is rubbing against the driver's side rear spring, causing the emergency brake cable to begin rubbing through its rubber casing against the steel spring. Failure is inevitable. Three different ford dealerships have examined the problem and indicated no repair is possible - this is the way the truck is supposed to be. I have inspected other f-150s and have not discovered the same set-up or issue. The emergency brake will eventually fail / wear through and ford indicates this is normal.
