Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owned a 2018 ford f-150. While the contact's vehicle was idling at a stop sign, another vehicle fishtailed and crashed into the rear driver's side of the contact's vehicle. The impact turned the contact's vehicle 90 degrees. Only the side air bags deployed. Within minutes, the other driver noticed flames inside the contact's vehicle. The contact stated that the fire was at the rear base of the driver's seat. Within a couple of minutes, the wind caused the entire vehicle to become engulfed in flames. The fire department was called and extinguished the fire. Police and fire reports were filed. There were no injuries. The contact called velde ford at 888-221-2804 (located at 2200 n 8th st, pekin, il 61554) and reported the failure, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was destroyed and towed. The failure mileage was approximately 11,000.
