| Description of the problem | Power is being transferred to the driveshaft when starting the vehicle in park, making the driveshaft spin backwards. A loud mechanical clunk is heard from the transmission when occurring. The vehicle is stationary when starting. After 6 weeks and three attempts to repair, ford stated "this gear state is ideal for anticipation of an engagement but also generates a positive drag to the driveline and can cause a rocking sensation of the vehicle at or just after engine start in park. The 2 loaner f-150s driven while waiting with the 10r80 transmission did not exhibit the condition. |
