| Description of the problem | 10-speed transmission hesitates/randomly shifts constantly during driving. When stopping at traffic lights, after being completely stopped, the vehicle lurches and an audible clunk can be heard from the transmission. It has always been sluggish when accelerating, today that has gotten far worse and the transmission light is on. I had a 45 minute drive home and the truck struggled to get up to 40 mph. This erratic transmission behavior makes it dangerous to drive in any kind of traffic or on the highway because you can't predict how the vehicle will behave when pushing the gas pedal. |
