Description of the problem	This issue pertains to the 10-speed transmission that occasionally locks up the rear wheels. The first time it happened to me, the truck had less than 500miles on it. I had exited the interstate and was approaching a light on a downhill grade. I decelerated for the turn, then started to accelerate, but decided i was too late for the light and started to lightly brake again. At that time, the rear wheels locked up, make a screeching sound, and the truck suddenly decelerated so hard that it locked my seatbelt. I immediately looked in the rear view mirror to see what kind of truck had just hit me from behind. To my surprise, no vehicle behind me. I was on my way (5min) to the ford dealership for the transmission cable recall and we discussed this issue. Could it be related to the cable recall? The dealership said my cable clip was fine and recall did not apply. They told me they could not fix it unless a check engine/check transmission light was illuminated. None was illuminated, so they sent me on my way. This has happened 4 times in 10months (9900miles). Each time has the same slight down slope when shifting either up or down. Scares the hell of of me every time, let alone the damage it is doing to the drivetrain, tires, and engine. New trucks should not have this problem. If it happened on a wet road or snow/ice contaminated, i'm sure it would cause a wreck or worse.
