Description of the problem	Ford issued recall 20c03 (nhtsa 20v-097) to correct an issue with the intensity of the daylight running lights on certain f150 trucks. Without informing the customer the reprogramming of the body control module also now activates the parking lights whenever the daylight running lights are activated. In california, vehicle code section 24800 prohibits the activation of the parking lights in conjunction with the daylight running lights while driving. I filed a complaint with ford motor co., and their response was they have no intention of fixing this. That they don't care what california law says. I spoke with the local california highway patrol office and they confirmed i could be issued a citation for this infraction. Now the only recourse is to always drive with the daylight running lights off so the parking lights are not activated with them while driving. The work was performed on 10/27/2020 by the local ford dealer.
