| Description of the problem | On two separate occasions while the vehicle was in motion with transmission in drive with auto start stop mode disabled via the dashboard button, the engine stalled and shut off, a message appeared on dashboard "auto start stop shift to p, then restart engine". This occurred september 14, 2019 and october 17, 2019. Taken to dealership september 16, 2019. Dealership states this is an unknown issue despite many similar incidents reported online, examples were shown to the dealership. Dealership returned vehicle stating nothing wrong, no failure codes were stored in vehicle computer, no related service bulletins, unable to verify complaint. This is clearly a serious safety hazard.
