| Description of the problem | My truck has had an engine stumbling, hesitation, and misfiring problem since day 1 of ownership. The dealership said it would resolve itself after 2000miles of normal driving but it has not. It has progressively gotten worse over 10 months of ownership. It is much worse during hot summer weather (ie temps above 90f). Occasionally when depressing the accelerator, the truck hesitates and fails to accelerate. I am very worried that it will do this when pulling out in traffic. The dealerships have been able to duplicate the problem but have not been able to fix it. I am using my 2nd vehicle to drive to/from work as this new 2018 f-150 v8 is unreliable. |
