Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2018 ford f-150. While the vehicle was at a stop light, the stop/start mode activated automatically. After releasing the brake pedal to drive, the vehicle suddenly lunged forward and stalled. The driver had to immediately restart the engine to avoid being rear ended by another vehicle. The vehicle was taken to corwin ford (3241 s. Glenstone ave, springfield, mo) where it was diagnosed that the battery was faulty. The battery was replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 13,000. tt dealer stated failure was due to battery. Battery was replaced jan. 25, 2019. Battery lasted 43 days, third battery was installed on march 19,2019.jb
