Description of the problem | Driving home a deer ran into driver side of vehicle causing minor damage and side curtain air bags deployed. Pulled over and vehicle called 911. After inspecting vehicle and witnesses from across the road made sure we were safe, it was determined the vehicle could be driven. This took about 5 to 10 minutes. While attempting to start the vehicle, the passenger went to remove a purse from the back passenger side seat and noticed a fire on the bottom of the post between the front and rear door and where seat belt restraint is located. Immediate evacuation was needed and a second 911 call was placed. The truck went up in complete flames in a matter of minutes and is a complete loss. |
