| Description of the problem | My electric tailgate is coming down without me opening it. I was hooking up my snowmobile trailer and it came down on my head. We have had it open going down the road and with a tonneau cover you don't know it has fallen. Thankfully the boys had down hill skis in back that didn't fly out and kill someone. I have now pulled the fuse but that interferes with opening the doors. And makes my rear box useless with the tonneau cover. I have to put the fuse back in in order to open the tailgate. Detroit -- ford is recalling its popular f-150 pickup truck in canada to fix a problem with electric tailgate latches, but identical trucks aren't being recalled in the u. S. |
