Description of the problem	Brake pedal must be pressed at least 1 1/2 to 2 inches for braking to begin. At this point the brakes are not firm. Also, while on a downward grade or hill the brakes initially brake, but slowly lose pressure and have to be pumped to retain braking. I have taken my truck to dealership 4 times and was told that this common to all lariat trucks and they cannot repair. Obviously, this is a defect that ford should address immediately.
