Description of the problem	Son was driving 2016 ford f-150 truck on a 2 lane road, right out of our subdivision. It started shaking and stalling, wouldn't accelerate, brakes went stiff, wrench light came on, engine light came on. Numerous sensors came on. Was very dangerous. Had to coast the truck back home. Had to have the truck towed to dealership. Throttle body went bad. Repair was $575. 00. They claimed there were no recalls and not covered under warranty. There was a field service recall on this model truck and this part a year after the truck was purchased new with previous owner. We are the second owners. Knew nothing about this until now. Was told by ford that field service recalls expire. Previous owner may have not had a problem to take it in and have it checked. One of the old recall numbers i researched was 16b32, there were several others. There are numerous lawsuits against ford for this part going bad. Can stall out at any time and cause a deadly accident. This truck is too new to have these problems. Had a full 45,000 inspection at ford a few months ago. Nothing was ever mentioned about this or cleaning this. Ford is selling vehicles with faulty parts that can cause unexpected accidents that can be deadly.
