| Description of the problem | Hood was released while driving down the freeway (it didn't open all the way due to the safety catch under the hood). This is about the 6th time this has happened iover the last 2 years but first time it has happened while driving on the freeway. We stopped using the emergency brake about 3 months ago because we thought maybe our foot was accidentally hitting the hood release lever on the inside panel. Therefore, this most recent time it happened, we didn't have a foot anywhere near the hood release lever the entire trip. Had it in the dealership 2 years ago when it first happened and they apparently didn't fix it or didn't know what was wrong. |
