| Description of the problem | My vehicle was repaired under customer satisfaction program 18n03 for the door latch freezing overnight and being unable to close the door after opening it in the morning until it warmed up. This was originally repaired under the program 18n03 in march 2019. In february 2020 the same door latch had to be replaced completely as the door would not lock or unlock unless manually operated from the inside. Given the short time frame between the two repairs the original freezing and being unable to latch must have damaged the door latch causing it to fail less than a year later. The dealer and the ford customer satisfaction agent both refused to repair the latch the second time under the program costing me $583 out of pocket. |
