Description of the problem	2016 ford f150 with 23,400 miles & 23 months in service. The back glass (rear window) shattered while driving home from work. The ambient temperature was approximately 35 degrees f and i had used the remote start feature which turns on the rear window defroster. I started driving and had just pulled out of the parking lot when i heard the sound of the glass cracking. I pulled over and took pictures. I called my dealership and took vehicle in for inspection. They took photos and submitted to ford motor company for warranty consideration. It was rejected. It appears that the either the rear window or the rear defroster is defective. I have seen similar complaints online and believe that this issue needs to be resolved. This should not be happening and if it does, it needs to be covered by warranty. Thank you.
