| Description of the problem | The driver door latch on my truck when cold will freeze and not open/unlock until the truck has been warmed up for an extended period of time ranging up to 40 minutes. I have been locked out of my vehicle at a gas station, retuarant, my house and have even been locked in my truck where i had to wait 10 minutes for it to thaw and allow me to exit the vehicle. This is a huge safety issue if i cant exit my vehicle if involved in an accident or being stranded outside of my vehicle in cold temps. This has happened to me about 12 times now and the first time it did it it was only 29 degrees out. The colder it is the longer it needs to thaw. This is a video i made and posted it online.
