| Description of the problem | Was parked at a gas station and when i backed up to leave my wife and i heard this thumping noise and when i put the vehicle in drive the steering began to lock up. With all my power, it was all i do to barely turn the wheel. I read up that similar recalls had been made on this very same problem with earlier trucks and it all stems from a intermediate steering shaft issue where poorly riveted shafts all had this problem. Huge safety issue and my truck only has 45,000 miles on it. Video of consistent problem can be found at https://www. Bing. Com/videos/search?
