| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2016 ford f-150. While driving 65 mph, the contact noticed that the steering wheel became loose. The contact attempted to adjust the steering wheel, but the failure continued to worsen. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (cook ford, 2600 palmer hwy, texas city, tx 77590) where it was diagnosed that a bolt behind the steering wheel needed to be tightened. The manufacturer informed the contact that the vehicle was no longer under warranty and he would be responsible for the repair cost. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 60,000. |
