| Description of the problem | Complete brake failure. Entered vehicle in morning and pedal went to floor. Popped hood and checked fluid (fine). Got back in vehicle and attempted to move it a few feet - pumped brakes - no stopping force - after 2 - 3 pumps the brake fluid light came on - stopped engine and rechecked fluid (had dropped about 1 inch - was not below min) - big pool of brake fluid under rh front wheel. Had (day before) just completed long trip through mountains (steep canyons) - feel lucky to be alive! |
