| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2016 ford f-150. While driving 30 mph, the low brake fluid warning indicator illuminated and the brake pedal was depressed to the floorboard, but failed to adequately slow down the vehicle. The parking brake was activated and the vehicle slowed to a stop. A towing service was contacted; however, the vehicle was still waiting to be towed to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact stated that brake fluid was added to the brake reservoir; however, after several seconds, the brake reservoir was empty again. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 23,000. |
