| Description of the problem | While driving on a us highway at 65 mph, i had a need to suddenly apply the brakes on my 2016 ford f-150 and there was a sudden failure. The brake pedal had to be depressed the entire distance to the floor to finally get the vehicle to decelerate. Afterwards a warnings light came on indicating low brake fluid. Despite adding fluid to the reservoir the brakes would still not engage. The vehicle had to be brought for service where it was determined that there had been a failure in the master brake cylinder. Fortunately this did not result in an accident or injury. |
