| Description of the problem | 3 miles into my trip with several starts and stops. Low break fluid warning light. Pulled over with working breaks but reservoir was almost empty. Loss of breaks after a couple more stops. Topped off break fluid reservoir. Ran motor 5 min before low fluid warning light, no sign of external leak. Leaking appears to be from master cylinder to vacuum buster. Pulled vacuum line from vacuum buster eliminated the loss of fluid. And was able to limp home with manual breaks. |
