Description of the problem	On 7/16/18 at approximately 0400, while on rt 95 s driving at approximately 68 mph, in stamford ct, i applied brakes and brakes failed. Using downshift and e brake i successfully slowed down and took the nearest exit ramp. Brought the vehicle to the nearest ford dealer. Its reported that the master cylinder failed. Looking on-line there is an apparent issue the 2015, 2016 v6 eco boost models where this failure has occurred. Ford is currently evaluating whether to cover the repairs. This notification is for record purposes as on-line it appears that nhtsa is investigating these failures.
