Description of the problem	I was operating my 2016 ford f150 on a secondary gravel rd at 30 mph in 2wd. Upon going a slight uphill grade, the vehicle lost all acceleration and came to a stop idling roughly at 1000 rpm. The wrench light, hill decent and traction control warning light illuminated. The engine idled but would not accelerate. I shut off the engine and restarted it. This seemed to correct the problem clearing the error codes. However, continuing on the road, the same problem occurred 3 miles later. I was in a remote area in the state and had to travel 60 miles to a urban area. This problem occurred at least 20 more times with greater frequency until arriving at my residence. The vehicle was repaired by the ford dealership in sheridan, wy. The fix was as follows. Diag, p2112-throttle actuator a control system, stuck closed, pinpoint to throttle body. Replaced throttle body, cleared codes. My vehicle had 38,450 miles when this incident occurred on october 17, 2019, 4:30 pm. After doing some research with other ford f150 owners, this appears to be a prominent problem and in my mind, a dangerous one. Most of the incidences appear to happen in the similar mileage range but in other model years, 2017 and 2018 were prevalent also. The ford service manager related he had done allot of these repairs recently. Their is no recall for this issue at this time.
