| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2016 ford f-150. While driving 80 mph, the vehicle stalled and all the warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where diagnostic testing found failure codes for the turbo, indicating that the air fuel mixture was rich. The independent mechanic was unaware of how to remedy the failure, but found that the bolt on the exhaust had fractured due to rust from an unknown leak. The bolt was replaced, but the vehicle stalled again. The contact called carlsbad ford (2802 w pierce st, carlsbad, nm 88220, (575) 885-3101) and the contact was awaiting a call back to schedule an appointment. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but was unable to assist. The failure mileage was approximately 92,000. |
